The Inheritance Cycle was originally going to be a trilogy. However, halfway through, Christopher Paolini found that the third book was going to be well over 1000 pages and needed to be split. Thus, Inheritance Book 4 was born. It is yet to be named, so for the sack of reference, I will just call it the fourth book.As well as not having an official cover or confirmed name, the fourth book of the Inheritance Cycle does not yet have an official release date. This poses a major problem for those who truly are yearning to read the final part of the series. Yet Christopher Paolini has given us some clues as to when the book will be released.First, he said that he was over halfway through the third book when he realized it needed to be split. So that likely means he had some of the fourth book already written, cutting down the writing time. Also, each book was released in the winter time around the holidays. So it is fair to assume the last will follow the trend.Lastly, and by far
the biggest clue was given when Christopher Paolini stated that the book would be released between June 2010 and June 2011. It is a whole year for the range, but still it narrows it down. So if you take all three of these into account you are likely to get a date around November. That is my guess and I am sticking to it.
