The Beautiful Bliss in Life - Marriage

Marriage is believed to be the most beautiful turning point in the life of both men and women. A moment which is even regarded highly in heaven. May be that's the reason it is said " Marriages are made in heaven". The union of two souls means not only bonding them but also two families... well that's what people say.If one asks me, I would say that the entire scenario or concept of marriage has changed. It is not because people have changed but the perceptual power of them has taken a U-Turn. In a society like India even today love marriages are not warmly accepted as compared to arranged marriages. Love marriages are represented or undertaken by a very small part of the population of the country. Previously families use to be very staunch with the entire phenomena of love marriage. However the changing of seasons there is also a change of thoughts and actions in the newer generation. Now it is more of love marriages than inter caste, inter community and to some extend inter c
ountry marriages. The younger generation has become advanced and hence tend to make changes with the set-up that has been going on through ages. They no more rely on the confidence of their parents in giving them a good life partner. In fact would like to choose a person whom they think matches their mentality and thoughts. The voice of the young generation to their parents are... you made us study, you made us self independent, you gave us confidence, now let us choose the path for ourself. Sometimes they succeed and sometimes they fail but they prefer to choose their ways by themselves.Chetan Bhagat has tried to focus on this beautiful relation through his experience from his book 2 States. A partially no-fictitious love story which gives in detail the first meeting of Krish (Chetan Bhagat) and Ananya (Anusha, his Wife). This story very beautifully depicts the meeting of the two fellow students in one of the most prestigious B School - IIM - A. Her first glance took away hi
s sight and stole his heart. Two states in a simple term means two different states from where the two protagonist belonged. Krish from Punjab and Ananya from Tamil Nadu - from a staunch Tamilian Brahman. Their difference in community did not bring any difference in their emotions. As for them, they felt the same way and hence did not mind in accepting each other for the rest of their life. But the story does not end here... family is the priority which needs to be accepting their love. The stress and tension, the anger and anguish, the differences of habit, style everything has been detailed in the book.Chetan Bhagat in a very hilarious way explained his love history: Love marriages around the world are simple:Boy loves girl. Girl loves boy. They get married. In India, there are a few more steps:Boy loves Girl. Girl loves Boy.Girl's family has to love boy. Boy's family has to love girl.Girl's Family has to love Boy's Family. Boy's family has to love girl's family.Girl and Boy
still love each other. They get married.
