Why Use A Mentor?

I recently granted an interview with a gentleman interested in a Joint Venture using our site and his marketing techniques. I felt this could be great information for the public and great way to inform the public about what mentoring is about. With his permission I have condensed that interview and am making it available here. The method of using mentors for individuals to make a living online is not a new one. Take a whole system based on using ppc advertising. Following a mentor allows you to use their system with tested techniques to promote affiliate sales. He says this is still a very effective way to advertise but when coupled with following a mentor will get you into the green a lot faster. He says just to follow someone else's steps is much easier than cutting that path yourself. He like many learned what works best through the school of hard knocks. He highly recommends finding and following a mentor as opposed to the way he had to learn. Trial and error is time consum
ing and often very costly. When you follow a mentors "blueprint" you move right into using a business model and methods that have already proven to produce results. In his view you should also follow one mentor as opposed to possibly trying to move in two or three directions. He built his business "the hard way" he says. Today so many are willing to mentor and take others under their wing to nurture them along. They offer a lifetime of experience instead of the constant trip and fall method of running or building a business. Once you are attaining your goals under a system you can afford to branch out and become a trailblazer in your own field. He gave me an example of a mentoring program top to bottom. I have to say the step by step system used, when following a mentors "blueprint" to help individuals start making a living via the internet, left me a bit in awe. He claims if you follow a "blueprint" anyone willing to apply themselves can make a great living on the internet.
