Hp dv2000 batteries use manual

When using a laptop as a desktop replacement the battery should not be left in for long periods of time. The laptop will over time discharge the hp dv2000 battery. Remove the battery, making sure that it is charged to 50% and store it in a dry, warm place. Ensure that it is wrapped protectively and nothing will be dropped on it. The battery should be re-installed every 3-4 weeks and allowed to fully discharge. Leaving a battery in storage for longer than this without using could cause the battery to fully discharge as the circuitry of the battery itself consumes power. Leaving a battery in a laptop while using an electrical outlet for long periods of time will keep the battery in a constant state of charging up and that will reduce the life cycle of the laptop battery. New Hp dv2000 battery needs charging and discharging cycle first before the regular usage. Because battery from factory to the users' hands that exists the time differences, and the electrode materials will be
its passivation for the battery of the longer time difference, which is why the purchase of new batteries need to be completely filled with charging and discharging cycle three times to eliminate electrode materials passivation, to activate Hp dv2000 laptop batteries performance, to reach maximum capacity. Meanwhile, the laptop has the data transmission agreement end between battery and the computer, after the need of two or three times charged and discharged cycle, the percent of its real capacity can keep pace with the percent of content on the computer's screen. Cycle's steps: insert incomputer to discharge until the shutdown, and then recharge the Hp dv2000 battery, charging time must be over 12 hours, to repeat the action of charging and discharging for three times. When using the battery for Hp dv2000 , fever is a normal phenomenon, because in the process of the dv2000 battery pack charged and discharged, energy conversion will result in heat and at the same time the a
mount of heat will be transmitted to the battery. But if overheated (burning), stop using it immediately and ask for the professinonals to check. . A few months back, when the exploding Hp dv2000 laptop battery first started coming to the public attention, I wondered if my laptop would be affected. Eventually Dell set up a website to deal with it and published a list of PID's (part numbers basically) that were affected and subject to recall. I remember looking through the chart for my serial number, and it wasn't there. Great, no need to worry about my laptop catching fire and burning the building down while I was at work. I still left it unplugged while I was out though, just to be safe. Two weeks ago, while I was on vacation, I noticed my laptop battery seemed to discharge pretty quickly. I know that batteries start to degrade over time, after about 500 discharges and charges, but I didn't think I was to that threshold yet. Rich's Battery stopped charging when an interna
l counter hit 500 and just refused to ever work again. When this Hp dv2000 battery was new, 18 months ago, I could last about 4.5 hours with the WiFi radio on and the screen at full brightness. It was pretty kick-ass. On the plane ride home from Vancouver, the battery died before I even finished watching a single DVD movie, with the screen brightness turned down a bit and the WiFi radio off. That was less than 50% of what it was when new. Not good. Within another week, I noticed it dying even quicker.....
