The Art of the Pendulum, by Maxi Cohen

The Art of the Pendulum, by Maxi Cohen is an excellent book for those who are new to using a pendulum, as well as those who have experience using pendulums. The box is a thick cardboard with a magnetic lid that keeps the box closed and the contents protected. The package includes a two inch metal pendulum with a five and a half inch chain, a small booklet on how to use a pendulum and twelve cards to use to answer questions using pendulums. The metal pendulum feels sturdy and is a great pendulum for beginners. The chain is a perfect length. It is long enough to allow room to swing freely, but not too long to the point where it becomes a free spinning menace. The only change that I would make to the pendulum is to make it out of copper or brass. I am not sure what the metal currently used is, but it looks to be steel. Traditionally, copper and brass are more energetic metals to use for pendulums and dowsing rods. The booklet and cards I feel I would not change in any way.The boo
klet is a quick read, and cuts to the chase about how to use the pendulum. It tells you what you need to know, and allows readers to begin using their pendulum in the same sitting. The booklet is three inches by three and a half inches, allowing readers to keep it in a pocket when traveling. The pages are comprised of what a pendulum is, a brief history of pendulums, using the supplied cards, why and how to use pendulums, and how to store pendulums. What I like most about this set, is the cards. Each card has either letters, numbers, or words that you can use to answer a question. On the back of each card it describes what type of question it can be used for. Some sample questions that can be asked are whether to invest in a stock or not, when to make a decision, how important something is to you, any yes or no question, whether to take a chance or to play safe, and many other forms of questions. For the amount of money buyers will pay, The Art of the Pendulum by Maxi Cohen fa
r exceeds the dollar value. Even if readers have a pendulum they use and love, the cards will help greatly. Simply add any pendulums readers own to the case, and take both pendulums along. I give this set 4 out of 5 stars.
