The Lost Country by William Gay Book Review

The lost Country by William Gay is a story between four individuals, who have different yet resembling stories each. One is an ex-convict man who only has one arm; another is a runaway woman from a house because of the abusive experiences, next is a not so old hitch hiker from west coast and a kid who is being hunted by the police.Their stories started on different ways, but eventually, faith will bring them together in a town called Ackerman's field. Vengeance is one word you will notice on each story. It's like the author have wrote something about a usual emotion that people always feel but nevertheless they are not concerned about, and that is the feeling retribution.Regardless of what the subject is, as long that you want something to happen due to some bad experiences, that is vengeance. William Gay who is well known by his contemporary novel wrote the story in an intense manner. I can say it's a turn-pager and very exciting book. Every character is on their own journe
y in getting the sweet revenge that will lead them into something unexpected, something they are not planning to be.If you want to have a break, be entertained by an extra-ordinary plot of story, I really recommend this book; you won't regret buying this. Although the whole thing sound stressful, because of word such as vengeance and revenge, the story still gives good lesson to everyone, it's all in the twist at the ending part, you want to know what? Then buy The lost Country by William Gay.
