"Re-Create Your Life" by Morty Lefkoe - Reader Review

Let me start by stating a simple fact made clear throughout this publication.....this is not a self-help book. With that very thought or "belief" out of the way, you are free to interpret this writing the way it was meant to be read; with an open mind.If you take a look at our world, you will see a wide array of things. Even within our own country, communities, and families, this holds true. Based upon who the onlooker is though, determines what you will see. Such is the principal for looking at your life and surroundings described in this book. The "Decision Maker Process" is shown to be not some radical, left-wing, delusion thought up by the wild imagination of a flower child, but a way of thinking which allows us to see the world and our lives the way we want it to be as a whole and empowers us to take the steps needed to get there.Have you ever seen a behavior in others or even yourself that you wish you could change? Have you tried to change that habit, but been unsucces
sful time and time again? The "Decision Maker Process" suggests that the reason behind your initial actions is more important then the actions themselves. If you dig to the root of the problem by first figuring out the "belief" behind the actions, you can acquire an understanding of how the belief came to be YOUR TRUTH, versus A TRUTH. As small as this distinction may seem to the casual reader, Mr. Lefkoe explains that through the very identification of what an event meant to us, we form a "belief" that we carry forward which effects our everyday interactions. Only by our own recognition does THE TRUTH form, but once we understand that it was our interpretation versus the many perfectly acceptable ones that may also have been formed, do we overcome our personal roadblocks and begin to live as both the "creator" and "creation" of our lives.Again, the point is made that this was not created to be a self-help book. With an open mind, and a hope to see change in the world throug
h your own hands, I would invite you to take a moment and consider the ideas, and concepts raised by this well-written view that may just give you the upper-hand on your own life path.
