How to fix credit scores
When it comes to credit scores, everything matters such as in the case of getting your own house and a car for loans purposes. Before you go out there and try to get a house or a vehicle, there are a few ideas to fix them so then you would have a better rate on interest.
Step 1. Figure out which credit cards you use often. The ones you use on a daily basis need to be stopped or figure out which one of cards can only be used because you should try to lower your debt in order to improve your credit score. And credit card interest are expensive on top of what you borrow.
Step 2. Look at your credit card statements and see how much you still owe on the card(s). See which one have the least amount and pay that one off first before moving the rest of that fund to the others that are next. For the time being, avoid using the cards unless they are a emergency and going on a shopping spree is not one of them. That was the reason why you got yourself into this mess.
Step 3. You need to pay your bills on time in order to avoid late charge fees. If you need some money to help you get out of this jam, think about selling some of the items that you do not currently use or need. Someone else will want them. Try Ebay, Amazon or even list it on Craigslist. You would save yourself some money on shipping and handling if you post it under the city that you are in or closest to. Instead of shipping the items to them, why not meet up in person at somewhere to give them what they ordered?
Step 4. House mortgage and vehicle loans need to be paid off in time in order to avoid late charges. House mortgage interest rates goes higher if you paid late and even on vehicle loans for interest.
Step 5. Keep working on dwindling down the debt so then you can raise up your credit score. Do not borrow anymore money until you are out of it.
