HP ENVY 14 Laptop Review

We started by testing HP ENVY 14 years the most important part of any computer, the CPU. A processing unit will result in a slow slow computer, no matter how much memory it has, how big is your hard drive, and how its powerful graphics processing unit. We were pleased to find Versatile Intel Core i3 370 000 000 Dual Core processor, clocked at speeds of 2.4 GHz, on a large, 3 MB L3 cache. When tested, the CPU was able to perform very well and we are proud to give him 10 points on 10 for its versatility and speed. Then, the HP Envy 14 surprised us with its powerful video card. It comes with an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650, in collaboration with 1 GB of video memory (VRAM) and support HDMI. We can certainly play the latest games with the help of this GPU! We are happy to give the laptop 10 points for his powerful video card. After we tested the GPU, we were pleased to find 4GB of DDR3 memory in our brand new laptop from HP. The memory performed very well in all our tests and we are proud to give the laptop 10 points for that. It was time to see if her hard drive was for employment. We were delighted to find a big, 500 GB hard drive, spinning at 7200 revolutions per minute (rpm) and with the innovative HP ProtectSmart hard drive protection. The drive was able to accommodate all our games, documents and multimedia files. Transfer rates were above expectations. That is why we are happy to give the HP Envy 14 another 10 out of 10 points. We love to receive free stuff, so we were very happy to find free software and tools provided with the HP Envy 14. We got a genuine copy of Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit operating Microsoft Office 2010, Adobe Photoshop Elements and Adobe Premiere Elements 8 and 8. The photo editing tools was very useful because you can make using the main edition of the 14.5 inch diagonal notebook with HD LED BrightView technology. It supports a maximum resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels. We give HP ENVY 14, the well-earned 10 points for additional software and its nice screen. Overall we were very pleased with our new acquisition and we decided to keep it (we usually return the test units). Ultimately, the HP Envy 14 is a laptop to test and we decided to keep it. We found no defects and were very surprised by its powerful processor, plenty of RAM, video card and versatile big hard drive.
