He looks at what media strategies actually work and explains the difference between PR and advertising. Then he dives into having a plan along with article marketing (my personal favorite strategy).Another great media strategy is building a media file. Van Yoder recommends that you position yourself as an expert and provides a sample press release.In the third and last section, he explains the necessity of your website along with social media (Web 2.0). Also, he suggests speaking engagements as another way to become slightly famous (my second personal favorite strategy). Understanding that success comes from a variety of strategies, he recommends the creation of multiple streams of income along with strategic partnerships.
