The Victorian government in Australia recently passed a bill making abortion legal for up to 26 weeks of pregnancy. Most women seem to agree that it is the right thing to do, because, after all, they are the child bearers and many are overburdened if a child is one too many to provide for, born handicapped, or is straight out unwanted.Of course the opposition was extremely vocal with demonstration and placards of the fetus, and so on. The emotion some showed was stressful and meant to gain the most sympathy to their cause. Among them too were a number of pregnant women declaring that no one has the right to kill their babies. Well no one is killing their babies, or anyone elses for that matter.A fetus is not a living baby until it is born and surviving outside the womb. The intention behind declaring it a baby is to create emotion and hype up the image of someone dashing a little baby to death. But this is not what abortion is about. The religious claim that life begins at con
ception is false. Scientists for one know that this is a very narrow point of view. An embryo is nothing but a few cells and it does not even have a shape until around 10 weeks or so when it develops features and organs, such as a heart. But even then it is still only an organ and, like any organ that may be safely removed, it has no life of its own.At 3 months the embryo changes to what is called a fetus and until around 26 weeks or so it cannot survive outside the womb. That means it is not a separate living creature. Even after that it can only survive with massive support and intervention in an intensive care unit. So where is the life? Some argue that because the heart is beating and pumping blood then it is alive. Well, this week I saw a manufactured tissue in a beaker beating like a heart. Is it a living baby. No! It is an organ and whether or not the tissue can be used to grow a human heart is yet to be seen.As one with a different experience to the beginning of my li
fe, thanks to memory of reincarnation and entering my body one month before birth, I have no sentimental religious point of view. My experience was of standing above my parents as they were married (the date is, therefore, recorded) prior to entering my body. I saw my new family, if you like, long before I met them. That is my awareness and whatever came with me from my previous life is discussed in full on one of my sites and in my book 'A Return To Life'..Aware of everything around me from virtually the first day of life the experience of my last death and passage to this new life has never left me. Born with a different language to my parents it allowed me to keep my memories and to bypass attempts by others to impact my brain with a lot of mythology, such as the heaven and hell routine. As a spiritual person and one connected to the Spirit the destruction of the environment and the overpopulation of the earth is a great burden to me. We have far too many humans to survive
as the earth cannot sustain the number that already exists. As we run out of water, food, and living space so we also create global warming and alter the balance of nature to the point where we are probably at the end of life on earth. As we cut down more forests, fish out the oceans and turn what was good land into desert we will die, all of us, including all the unborn children who are allowed to be born. While governments influenced by religious dogma follow the teachings of church elders perhaps the politicians may be able to explain what happens to children they are encouraging to be born when the only course left for them is poverty and massive starvation.Religion is wrong and the continued insistence of overpopulating the planet to preserve all life should be instantly done away with. Children born into such poverty and deprivation as happens in many countries, including Australia, face an uphill battle but if their parents are religious they will give money to the Chu
rch and boost its numbers. That is what religion wants. My research began from a very early age into why people believe what they do. It became obvious from almost that time that brainwashing and prohibiting people from gaining understanding is a key to it. But there is also the lack of education, suppression of women, wars, governments, intimidation and ridicule stacked up ready to cut down the dissenters. From the beginning of my life I knew to preserve my brain and to learn as much as possible about everything. Things that normally dull a person's mind such as alcohol and drugs were taboo for me. Even things like entertainment and the so-called good times were seldom on the agenda. My thoughts were active about the things that matter. The problems had to be solved and I believed I was the one to do it.As the answers came so too came the shocks. The evidence is there before people's eyes and the fraud and conspiracy from thousands of years ago is documented. Religion grew fo
rm male minds and turned into laws that govern. The aim was to make men great and to turn them into gods.My second time at university saw me lay my case before the academic world and it was received, passed with honors and credited with recognition that it is right. Now it too is in book form and a PDF version is on one of my sites.
