8 tips to Clean an HP Pavilion Laptop

HP Pavilion laptops must be cleaned periodically for the best overall performance. Cleaning the laptop means cleaning the laptop itself and clearing away clutter on your hard drive. By setting up a regular cleaning schedule, your HP Pavilion laptop will continue to run smoothly and you’ll be able to find and access files easier. You need little expertise or tools to keep your laptop clean. All you really need is a clean space to work and at least 10 to 15 minutes of your time. 1.Turn off your HP Pavilion laptop. The method will depend on your operating system. Most are pre-installed with Windows. For Windows, click on “Start â€" Turn Off Computer â€" Turn Off” or “Start,” click the small arrow to the right, “Turn Off.” 2.Keep the lid open and use short bursts of compressed air to clean out the keyboard. Angle the nozzle to spray under the keys as much as possible. Keep the compressed air several inches away from the keys to prevent any liquid from reaching the keys. 3.Wipe the LCD screen first with an electronic wipe . If the wipe is still wet, wipe over the keyboard and touchpad to remove any dirt and dust. Close the lid on the HP Pavilion and wipe over the case. If your laptop is extremely dirty, you may need to use more than one wipe. 4..Turn over your HP Pavilion laptop and spray compressed air into the open vents to clean the fan. Keep the nozzle several inches away from the vent. 5.Turn your laptop back over and restart your system. 6.files, move the files to an external hard drive, CD, DVD or flash drive. Empty your Recycle Bin when you’re finished by right-clicking the bin on your desktop and clicking “Empty Recycle Bin.” 7.Defragment your system and remove temporary files. Go to “Start â€" All Programs â€" Accessories â€" System Tools.” To defragment, click “Disk Defragmenter.” Choose “Defrag” and wait for the tool to finish. To remove temporary files, such as Internet files, choose “Disk Cleanup.” The tool automatically runs. You can remove anything but the compressed files. 8.Run a full system virus scan with your anti-virus software to ensure your system stays virus free. such as:  hp Pavilion DV5000 AC Adapter( http://www.udtek.com/hp-pavilion-dv6000-ac-adapter-90w-19v-474a-bullet-shape-tip-p-4822.html ) Original HP Pavilion DV5000 AC Adapter 65W 18.5V 3.5A Description: Input: AC100-240V (worldwide use) Output: DC18.5V 3.5A Power: 65W Connecter size: Internal Diameter: 1.7mm External Diameter: 4.8mm Item Includes: AC Adapter and Power Cord.
