Touch of Silver Pairs A Headstrong Farm Gal With An Alpha Werewolf

'Touch of Silver' by Nicole Gestalt (Phaze Books) a classic case of forbidden fruit. When Rob the bartender tells headstrong farm gal Tammy to stay out of town while the bikers are around, Tammy can't resist. She falls in love at first sight with the mysterious silver-haired Kathleen. The attraction is mutual, but Tammy doesn't know the bikers are also a pack of werewolves. Kathleen is the alpha female, mated to the alpha male Jon. When Kathleen in her wolf form comes looking for Tammy, Jon's jealousy threatens to tear Tammy and Kathleen apart... quite literally.Kathleen is a wonderful paranormal erotica heroine: beautiful and mysterious, tough, strong and wild. Tammy is loyal and level-headed--perhaps not the most romantic traits, but certainly the traits needed for the events of this book. I would have liked a little more of a peek into Tammy's personality, but the abbreviation of this tale can be excused given that it's a novella and not a full-length novel.Clearly the rel
ationship between Tammy and Kathleen is the hottest ~ and most important ~ relationship in this book. There is, however, a smoking hot consensual, but rough, sex scene between Jon and Kathleen, told as a flashback. Lovers of lesbian paranormal fiction will enjoy this book, but so will lovers of bisexual women's fiction.The paranormal elements in this book don't break any new mythological ground. It's a pretty standard werewolf tale. If you love werewolves (and I do!), you won't mind. You'll be too swept away by the instantaneous passion between Kathleen and Tammy.
