Will he be an ally in the fight against the darkness or her worst enemy? Hunter's meticulous world building provides a convincing setting for this classic tale of good versus evil. The conflict in this post-apocalyptic world continues to evolve and becomes more fascinating with each book. It's a gripping read, full of skillfully choreographed battles between humans, seraphs and demons. An absorbing first-person narrative reveals a complex heroine surrounded by strong secondary characters. The story comes to an enthralling conclusion that still leaves room for future books.
