Apparently, her mother shot a man and you won't believe the reason!Lilly did not want to ever return to her hometown of Bugfest, Georgia but Dan has rarely asked her for anything. She knew she could not ignore Dan's plea and decided to return to Bugfest. Lilly has had many strange clients over the years but having her mother as one would really top all others.Once Lilly arrives back in Bugfest, she soon finds out that she is getting involved in more than just trying to defend her mother. She finds her mother's house is a mess and important papers are missing. The town itself is in turmoil because developers want to turn it into a resort community and as a result many residents would be displaced. As
if all of this isn't enough, someone tries to kill her over-sedated mother in the hospital with red ants. Who would want to do this?Lilly doesn't have much to go on but she has what it takes. She is always determined to solve the case even if it means taking risks. Is Lilly successful in solving this case?Sweetheart Deal is a very funny legal thriller. The book is loaded with some very colorful characters that will entertain the reader. The author does an excellent job of showing the reader that Lilly was right about wishing she never did have to return to Bugfest. Things still remained the same as before with her mother's weird behavior. Readers will enjoy the character of Lilly because of her humor and determination. Even though this book has plenty of humor, it also has a very complex plot and the author's writing style does a smooth job of bringing it altogether. If you like legal thrillers with some humor and a spunky lead character, this is the book for you. Be sure to
add "Sweetheart Deal" to your reading list.
