Hurricane Punch

Can you imagine two wild men chasing hurricanes up and down the Florida coast? Well, that is exactly what Serge does along with his friend Coleman who is pretty much just along for the ride. A serial killer is on the loose and Serge is suspected as the killer. Serge's psychiatrist suggests he get a job and he tries but things never seem to work out quite right when Coleman goes to work with him.Meanwhile Agent Mahoney is on the trail. He has just been dismissed from a mental hospital. His problem was dwelling too much on Serge. Now he's right back into the chase. His psychiatrist has a few suggestions too but Agent Mahoney is not the least bit interested. Then we have ace crime reporter Jeff McSwirley who also has a psychiatrist. Jeff is troubled by all the violent crimes he has to cover and the survivors who are drawn to him. It seems he has the ability to step in and do an interview where other reporters are turned away. This is mainly because he sits down and cries with th
e survivors. When Mahoney and McSwirley team up to capture Serge, the suspected serial killer, the fun really begins. The team effort enrages the another serial killer and all hell breaks lose.I began to feel I might also need a psychiatrist before I finished the book but it was fun to read and the author threw in an ending that I wasn't expecting at all. This was a fun book to read although the murders were horrible. I do intend to read more of Tim Dorsey's books.
