Bible Study on Revelations - Will You Take 666 in Your Forehead If Your Pastor Says It's Ok?

It seems like the Christian world is in harmony on the idea that the mark of the beast will be at heart of a new policy that will be imposed on the world in the last days. And, of course, a Bible study on Revelations 13 will bear that out.The problem that I have with the way it is often presented is the impression that is given concerning how this policy will be implemented. Many preachers out there are giving the impression that the world will be ordered at 'gun point' and forced to take 666 in their foreheads and right hands.The popularity of this idea is an indication that many prophecy students do not understand that the message of Revelation 13 is much more than about how the inhabitants of the earth will take the mark of the beast.If you should do a diligent Bible study on Revelation 13, from the first verse to the last, you will see that the whole point of this vision given to John is essentially about how the world will be DECEIVED into accepting a new religious schem
e that they would not accept under normal circumstances.As the end of the world draws near we are going to see a dramatic change in the way we practice our religion; our worship services are going to be different from what we know it to be today.Let us not fool ourselves into believing that this is going to be the work of some 'outside enemies' encroaching on our religious liberties. When the new religious order is introduced, it will elicit the cooperation of religious leaders of small and large congregations! Believe it or not, many pastors are going to sell the new religious order to their membership and make it appear to be something good and necessary!We need to understand that in order for the system associated with mark of the beast to become a reality the following must be in place:• NO USE OF FORCE POLICY. The mark-of-the-beast policy will not get the cooperation of the world in the way the Bible prophesied it if it is to be implemented purely by force of arms.
Therefore, extreme despotism will not be a policy priority.• RELIGION WILL HAVE TO PLAY A ROLE. The spontaneity with which the world embraces this new geopolitical system could not be possible without the use of religion. Because man is naturally a worshipful, social being, it will not be enough to satisfy his economic and geopolitical expectations; you will have to give him religion to answer to his spiritual needs.• THE WORLD WILL HAVE TO BE DECEIVED. If the world is being thoroughly warned of this evil mark every day through different media, it will take a massive deception of its inhabitants to get them to change their thinking and accept this mark as if they have never been warned.• WELL-KNOWN INDIVIDUALS WILL BE INVOLVED. In order to deceive the world into accepting the mark of the beast it will have to be the work of well-known individuals with enormous influence in the world. It takes more than a set of fly-by-nights with little no credibility or clou
t on the international stage to get the support of the world for such a policy.In your Bible study on Revelations 13:16 and 17, you will notice that economic a will be imposed on those who refuse to cooperate with this new world policy. My main reason for dismissing the credibility of the argument that the mark of the beast will be implemented by force of arms stems from this observation. If you won't be able to buy or sell but rather be left to suffer privation for not taking the mark of the beast, then why would military repression be needed to implement it?As I stated in a previous article, the use-force-policy will be implemented for those who oppose the new religious scheme. A cursory Bible study on Revelations 13:15 will clearly show that there will be a death decree against those who refuse to worship the image of the beast.When this prophecy is fulfilled, you will be forced to make a decision one way of or the other. It is at that point that the true saints will be d
istinguished from the half-hearted. The world will then be sharply divided into two camps - the worshippers of the beast, and the worshippers of Jehovah. Make sure that you are found on the right side when this prophecy is fulfilled!
