There has been no fictional character in the last decade that has made as much of an impact as Harry Potter. Often credited with single handedly bringing kids back to books, J.K. Rowling's boy wizard is without a doubt the most popular fictional character of the last decade, and has made Rowling the most well known author of the last decade.
